Rue, I thought we had agreed that Tom was shopping at Home Depot? You're quite right, Joyce. Sorry, sometimes it's hard for me to keep all my revised endings straight. Tom is at Home Depot, trying to get some of that new, multicolored duct tape. It's Charles who is just taking a nice, long relaxing nap. And, of course, Aggie is snorkeling.

Tom is at Home Depot, trying to get some of that new, multicolored duct tape. Ah, and then he'll meet Giles in the garden section who is getting some new pruning shears to tend his apple trees?

LOL! Yes, I always forget poor Giles, never having seen The Woodlanders. But I imagine he and Tom are happily browsing the aisles together.

Oh, you should see that one, I'm sure you'd like it (except for the ending, of course). Tom and Giles will certainly get along wonderfully

I probably would like it very much, but I have to get myself ready to deal with more unrelenting sadness from Rufus.

LOL. I prefer when we re-write some of the endings! Eric becomes a Baptist minister. Paul finds his son, but gets rid of the wife! Jacob ends up with a nice girl named Susan.

Lovely thoughts you've got there.
We've got some fruit trees in our garden now, and my stepdad is looking for someone to take over his apple orchard. Maybe Giles would love to move to Germany?!

I'm new to Rufus addiction, so I didn't see EH when it was originally broadcast. I got the DVDs and spent a happy six days watching them. I really enjoyed the show and wish it had gone on. But I can see why Rufus got so bored and was happy to have it cancelled. He likes character acting and the show gave him very little of that. Most of his dialogue was exposition - necessary, but nothing he could get his teeth into. Most of Jerry Bruckheimer's shows are like that, which is why I don't watch the CSIs or Cold Cases. But I'm a science fiction fan and EH fell nicely into that category. Good SF is character-driven however and that's what's wrong with Bruckheimer's shows: they're not. Zen gave Rufe a lot more to work with and it's utterly frustrating that it should have been cancelled after only 3 episodes (!) That's what drives me crazy about British shows. They have the most wonderful ideas, intelligent scripts and superb acting. But then they only do a few episodes. I understand that the original Patrick Stewart version of EH was only 4 eps. The one good thing about US shows is that they do at least one full season with roughly 20 eps.

I watched "Frozen" yesterday and liked the episode quite a lot. OK, to routined thriller readers/viewers like me it was clear rather early where the plot was leading to, but it was lovely to get some funny faces from Jacob And whenever he talks or thinks about his wife with that look in his eyes, I just want to give him a very big hug and somehow make up for his loss.

LOL GE2. I missed the living in KY part. Sounds great to me! Heck, I may even move anywhere he wanted!
Agree with you Jo and KMK.
