I have to confess when I was listening to it, quite often some years ago, I fell asleep before the end, nearly always, That was the point of the project, to make people sleepy - it was billed as a radio play for insomniacs. it worked too well in your case, Dreamer! BTW, if anybody wants to read the transcript, go back to page 2 of this thread. Thank you for the transcript GE2 - it does help to understand some bits and pieces for a non-native english speaker. Especially when one gets completely hypnotized by Rufus' voice

Dreamer, you could upload the file to a host like mediafire Here's the link www.mediafire.com/then post the link you get for us to download. You don't have to open an account there it is free. I already feel a craving to listen to it again Thanks Zenina, and welcome again on board. Here is, but you can only download it, not listen to it before, is it true? - www.mediafire.com/?1r24as329o15qm2 ;D

Hi Girls, What's the best way for me to get a copy of this. I have just read how much you all love it and I really really want it. I do have a small ipod that I used to put my french learning CD's on. I don't think that will be big enough but I will buy another ipod. As you know I am not very technical so can you let me know how I can download it. I need something to send me to sleep at night and can think of nothing better than Rufus' sexy voice. (even if he is a plant) sounds interesting!! Sorry - I will be able to download on to an ipod but can you tell me where from.. Is it just from the links on here? Is is an MP3 player I need as I have a CD and radio player that has a link for an MP3 player I think. You must all think I am so stupid. I didn't realise what a dinasaur I am. Thanks in anticipation of your help.

robela, there are probably a lot of ways to get/move/play the Nick Silver file, but I have an iPhone/iPod and a Mac, so if you have the same, this is what I did. First, go to the site dreamer listed (http://www.mediafire.com/?1r24as329o15qm2). Click the large button that says Download. Move the downloaded file (it's called Nick Silver Can't Sleep.mp3) into iTunes, then connect your iPod to your Mac and sync (transfer) the file to your iPod. Hope this helps, even if just a little.

Robela, the link PrairieGirl is referring to is only of a sample of Nick Silver, not the whole thing (which is about 15 minutes long). I've sent you a PM with a link where you can download the whole thing.

Hi judypatooty, rueful, nell, GreenEyesToo, dreamer - thank you all for your welcome. PrairieGirl kindly sent me a link for the programme, so I am a very happy bunny. (Well buck actually, because I am male, honest :-) As I said to PrairieGirl, usually to be found swooning over Rachel Weisz or Thandie Newton, but, well, Rufus is just lovely. Sigh.

Just a little Nick Silver experience story. Since I got the play on my mp3 player I carry it with me always. it takes approximately 15 min for me to get to work by bus. And believe me I'm not a morning person, and not very cheerful in the morning. Until I started to listen to Nick Silver on my way to and from work - I now make my way to work sitting or standing in the bus with a small blissful smile on my face and sometimes (you know probably when) having a hard time not to start moaning.

That's wonderful, zenina! ;D I would feel self-conscious listening to it in public; I tend to grin ear-to-ear like a big idiot. But it's good that it makes you happy in the morning!

Well, it happened that I really had a wide grin on my face and people started looking at me - I mean hardly anyone is really in a cheerful mood in the bus in the morning so... I'm the big exception
