Hi Judypatooty and Dreamer,
After hearing Dreamer's (breathtaking) 3 min edit of all Rufus' best parts in Nick Silver, I was wondering if the full length version Judypatooty has is as good a quality?
My download is off the old site and it's not so great, especially not compared to his voice in that edit! If it is, please could someone send me the link as well, so I can continue perving over his voice ;D
Thanks in advance! wma xx

Hi wma! The full version I have (via rueful) is the same one that was originally posted on the late (and much lamented) Roofsewell.com website. So, the one you have is probably as good as you're going to get, I'm sorry to say. P.S. Welcome to the Rootop! Why not post a brief into on the Members forum and let the rest of us loonies say hello?

I now make my way to work sitting or standing in the bus with a small blissful smile on my face and sometimes (you know probably when) having a hard time not to start moaning. How nice that Rufus/Nick makes you like mornings better (same here, actually!) And I know that insuppressible grin ... sometimes I walk my office corridors smiling gently because I've sneaked a look at some Rufus pics or wallpapers between two tasks to cheer myself up

Then we're both losing it, I guess I listened to Nick this morning on my way to work, and while there was too much outside noise when I was on the motorway to understand each and every word, I just enjoyed the pleasant drone of this VOICE The breathing is extremely, erm, erotic, too.

I find the breathing and swallowing makes it even more intimate - don't know quite how to express it. This is not just a voice (of course it's Rufus) but you can actually hear a living breathing, swallowing human being. Don't mind me if I don't make sense

Yes, you are making sense, I absolutely know what you mean - it becomes even more lively and intense.

I had a pleasant Nick Silver surprise while driving home from work yesterday. I had my iPod on Shuffle mode and had heard some jazz and then some old 70's rock and then, all of a sudden, there was this incredibly sexy man's voice coming over my car's speakers! It was hard to stay in my lane on the highway. Thank goodness it was only Dreamer's 3-minute excerpt. I would have had to pull over to the side of the road to listen if it had been the full-length Nick Silver.

Frannie, you're a genius Thanks so much! I just listened to the beginning of Nick on my iPod. Whoa. That's infinitely better than on the car stereo

It's like he's right there next to you! And thank you, francesca! That poem is lovely!

At last I have managed to get Nick Silver and The History and Adventures of Joseph Andrews downloaded on to my iphone. I have to agree with you girls it was wonderful listening in bed and the breathing and swallowing just made it more intimate. I was really tired but the thrill and excitement of being able to listen so intimately meant I listened to it about four times and did not get to sleep until after 3.00 a.m. It was worth it though! Thank you Francesca for the link for the poem. I am hoping I will be able to download that one now.
