A bit late , I know but Yes he does play the piano and drums ( he says badly) He used to play with his brother in a group when he was very young. his brother still does , iBand is called Grand Union, lovely gentle folk music , .As to being Welshman,s dream to play with Tom Jones, to hear Ruf and Tom is any Welshwoman's dream as I can proudly say

I have a question for ya..... Has anyone ever seen pictures of roofys family? Ive been trying to look for pics of bill sewell, but cant find anything? Would be great to see where he gets his good looks from?

I have only ever seen a pic of his older brother, Casper. He is a double bass player in a folk band. He has those cheekbones!!!

I actually see a resemblance.....especially when Rufus has his hair super short, like in Tristan & Isolde. Nose, the shape of his face, hairline, a somewhat similar eye-shape (though the color is different)!

Seem to recall reading on Rai's or Max's site that as a budding teen, Rufus looked in the mirror one day and was struck by his ressemblance to his father. Also, that when he arrived in the UK from Australia, Bill had shoulder length hair and hoop earrings.

Maz, at the beginning of 2008 there was an article in one of the Sunday supplements regarding the sale of Rufus' mum Jo's house and there was a photo of her in one of the rooms and although it was not a large in your face kind of photo, I felt that she looked like Rufus, especially from the eyes upwards. I think I might have kept the article and if I can dig it out I will post it here.  |

I've been thinking about this for a while now. I guess this question is for the administrators. With so many new members, I guess myself included I've only been a member here for a year or more. Did any of you think that this board would take off like it did? What I mean is, obviously we all know how very talented he is but did you think that it reached around the world? And my last question for today how exactly did this site start?

Hi All,
New member. Catching up on all things RS. It was his voice that first attracted me. Then those eyes then etc, etc. Aside from being a wonderful actor, of course.
Everything I read says his Dad died young. Does anyone know at what age his Dad died and from what?
