I happen to like radishes very much if you must know. I don't need authority, I think it's what they call seniority or something like that. So there.............

I have the utmost respect for the seniors among us; feel free to go off and take a little nap if you feel tired. We'll keep Ru entertained.

Being part Sicilian, I will remember that very unflattering quip and store it away for future use, and believe me it will be used accordingly. Besides I think while Ruf may enjoy a somewhat younger woman, after all I am his contemporary, what you could possibly talk to him about? What you girls do at recess? Really, I'd be careful you don't come across as a blushing school girl. Most unflattering and not attractive to say the least.

LOL! If you're his exact contemporary, then I out-senior you, since I'm a few years older. So you will please show me the proper respect, missy! And I always thought Sicilians were so polite....

We are polite, and I am not his exact contemporary, slightly older, if I made that unclear appologies. Looks like we may have more in common than we thought.

Ha! Then we'll have to call a truce. Maybe we should just ask Rufus if he wants to spend time with a group of charming, intellectually stimulating near-contemporaries and then take turns ruffling his hair.

A truce then !!!!! (and there was much rejoicing) Oh that sounds wonderful, I think if he was asked he run for the hills never looking back, that or just plain running in fear. We would be gentle though, wouldn't we???

LOL! Love the dancers.
Poor man! He must wonder what he did to deserve such nutty admirers, always blathering on about his hair and razor stubble, and then suddenly switching to indepth intellectual analyses of his work and talent, and then again randomly making lewd remarks about radishes. But it's not our fault! IT'S THE PHEROMONES! We are just victims here! And we would most definitely be very, very gentle.

Here, here, I put the blame solely on Ru. And he can't deny it either, there are too many of us now, there's strength in numbers. I have read that he has been known to frequent this site, not sure of how many times, I bet he gets a kick out of the whole thing. He seems so nonplussed by it all, that's what make him so endearing. (This is my rave for the day)
When I saw him in R&R and waited for a glimpse and autograph, my sister went to him and politely asked him for one, he gladly obliged. We happen ot be at the performance when a fuse had blown and the show was delayed a good 15 minutes, well my sister told him and he gave her one of those TOTS looks, (think elevator scene) she aksed him if it threw his perf off, and he said , no not at all he was in his dressing room having a cup of tea. That is classic.
I think we should form some kind of support group other than this board it should be called RA, for Rusus Annon, imagine the members we'd have??? We could invite him as a guest speaker.

Everything I ever hear about him from fans or journalists just makes me like him more. He just sounds so normal.
You are so lucky! I'd love to see him in a play. Don't know if I'd have the guts to wait for an autograph. (Especially if I had to wear a name tag from this site. Lordy, I have never said so many lustful, extremely racy remarks about a man [other than my husband] in my life! Internet anonymity can be a very bad thing.)
He'd be the perfect guest speaker, but I think it would sort of defeat the purpose of a 12 step program to control our addiction! On the other hand, he does strengthen my belief in the existence of a loving God.
