Thanks for putting up the photos, Uke. You guys can feel free to crop me out for your screensavers. Why would we do that? You look cute. Now I'm feeling the pressure to come back with a picture! So, do I have to talk to him to get one or can I just snap it? LOL. Yeah, I know he's nice and all, but I always feel uncomfortable talking to actors I like. I get stupidly shy around them. Not sure why, but maybe it's because I'm afraid I'll get nervous and say something stupid like, "You look so much TALLER in person!" (*sigh*)

Definitely ask before taking a picture!! It's rude not to. You'll be alright, he's quite harmless

These photos are wonderful.
Eth - I truly believe he understands just how uncomfortable you might be and he goes out of his way to make you comfortable - you can only know what we mean once it happens. Ask under the premise that he does not know you and you will never see him again, it is just a question, and there are a number of us who were in your shoes and were relieved at how gracious he is. Just do it, walk up to him and ask, can I take a picture. You will regret not doing it more than you will be uncomfortable thinking about doing it. He is a class act.

Hi,
I apologise for being a complete lurker but the daily grind just seems to get in the way of being a viable poster.
So of course I'm not entirely clear on how to post, but I'm responding to this:
"Eth - I truly believe he understands just how uncomfortable you might be and he goes out of his way to make you comfortable - you can only know what we mean once it happens. Ask under the premise that he does not know you and you will never see him again, it is just a question, and there are a number of us who were in your shoes and were relieved at how gracious he is. Yes, he is! And don't be shy. I wasn't going to have a photo with him because I was shy about that, but then I mentioned to Rai that I thought I would have a photo after all, and he picked up on it right away and joked "I knew you'd come round!". A class act and a sweetie. :-)

Rai---those are GREAT !!! so tell us more......what fun did things did he have to say? How lucky you are!!! I too love the profile photo of Rufus - can you tell I'm Italian, talking with my hands? Some random recollections: Rufus told us how Bruce Springsteen came back stage with his wife after the play and spent an hour going up to every single person there and talking with them. The Amercan actors were especially blown away. He told us how they had to report to the theatre every day during the strike, no matter what! He wore that nice brown leather jacket you've seen in the photos here. He said he loved it because it already looked worn-in when he bought it. He's pleased with both Vinyan and Downloading Nancy, but not sure how they'll do at the box office, especially DN, but he was very happy with his performance. Unfortunately his part in John Adams has been cut considerably and he's basically got a cameo now. He wasn't pleased at that turn of events. He's got some possibilities looming after R&R is done, but his superstitions prevent going into details at this point. I'll post more stuff when I can. Rai
