Rai and Renata- Thank you both so much for sharing your photos and tidbits, we all appreciate it! I had no idea the actors had to show up everyday during the strike, I had wondered if any of the actors could steal away for short trips--I guess not. Thank goodness for R & R's sake (and all the other shows) that the strike didn't last any longer. It worked out so well in the end for Rufus and his fans--yay.
I'm glad Rufus is happy with DN and Vinyan, I can't wait to see Vinyan especially. Who knows, maybe the controversial buzz from Sundance aboout DN could possibly garner it more notice and showings? Maybe it doesn't work that way, but one never knows. That kind of thing sure helped 81/2 weeks when it came out. Whatever Rufus does next, it's sure to be different than R & R, but if it's even half as intrigueing as a Stoppard play, that'll be just wonderful. Thanks again to Rai and everyone else who has shared their R & R w/Rufus moments, it takes away the sting, just a bit, for those of us who can't go.

They and Rufus go back way before we started this website. They're sharing their photos with us because they know we will like them but they weren't taken for us. |

sorry--I just meant a member of the site--I just wondered if he knew about the site and if anybody ever talked to him about it. I mean Uke when you and Maxx see him and ask him to sign things ..does he know that you have created this lovely site and that if weren't for you all that we would not be as "rufus saavy" as we are! ...we appreciate everyone that shares!!

....for Thursday night, February 28th.
So now everybody, pray for good weather for when I arrive in NYC on Wednesday afternoon. I'm a bit worried after seeing on the news that several flights were cancelled into NYC yesterday because of the weather. I'm doing my anti-snow dance all this weekend. ;D

Hey, guys! Not much time as am paying per minute here on a computer at my hotel. LOL. So, I made the play Thursday night. Great show. Was a bit lost in the first act (thinking WHERE is this going?) but by the second act, Ruf & cast had me tearing up at the end. (*sniff*)
I waited afterwards at the stage door with a die hard fan of the show (who had seen it 7 times) and who had a poster she wanted the entire cast to sign. I was only armed with my motorola razor to get pics for you all, but I managed! Got pics of Sinead, Brian Cox & his wife, and I wanted a pic of Ruf AND Alice, but when they came out, she took off like a shot to hail a cab (successfully, I should mention, that girl can move fast!) and the lady who wanted her poster signed had to call a (surprised) Alice back to be the last cast member to sign her poster.
I'll email them to Max the first chance I get, as I still won't be officially near a computer until Friday.
