Thank you, everyone! Life is challenging right now - I'm having to be quite inventive to get day-to-day things done. It's times like these that living on your own isn't such a good thing but I have offers of help.
Cat, my left-hand is no better than my right at finding stuff on Rufus right now - hopefully he'll be out and about more once filming's finished. I'm keeping an eye on Blog-Babe's site in the meantime, since he seems to hang out there from time to time.
Rueful - thank you, the extra time on the games will be needed!
Vittoria - thanks for trying, but no efffect, I'm afraid. I did some psychic testing years ago, and actually scored less than average on the tests. I was told scoring below average indicates I was subconsciously blocking the energy (even though I thought I was receptive to the idea of it) so maybe that's still the case.
Thanks again.

OH GE2 just found this - sorry, our weather has been giving me different problems (you dont want to know!). So sorry that you are a victim of the snow and ice, that is horrible. The pain is something else when you break a bone so you have my sympathies! I hope you sue the pants off the people who should have cleared the pavement (joke!)

So sorry it didn't work.. never know with these things. It's easier to do via im chatting and better than im chatting is in person of course. The best result was a dear friend who lives with chronic illness and pain. I did energy work and she said the effect lasted 10 days (pain free). Too bad you're so far away! If I recall accurately, this forum was the first attempt I made via a forum board. I hope you heal up well and quick, Dear.

I was telling my mom, a retired x-ray tech, about your injury and she said you were very fortunate that you didn't have to have surgery. Most of the fractures she saw like that couldn't be manipulated back into place, especially after there was significant swelling.
I hope you're feeling better and adapting to being a temporary lefty!

Yes, Ambra, the doc did say the manipulation doesn't always work. I'm just hoping the orthopaedic doc doesn't want to re-break and re-set the wrist when I go to the fracture clinic on Thursday - I'll have gone through all that torture for nothing! I'm pinning my hopes on having the lightweight cast fitted then - that will make life so much easier. The pain has subsided a bit, thank you - or I've just got used to it now. I'm not doing too badly left-handed - it's amazing what can be achieved when you put your mind to it. Being a stubborn, independent so and so helps... LOL! Thank you, too, Quoll and Vittoria. It's nice to have my Rufus friends to keep me cheerful!
