Hi everyone! I am so sorry to all of you for what went down. We are going to continue to work towards getting EH back....just in a different way. This is all contingent upon all those involved wanting this to happen, but I feel it is too good a show to completely let it go. Not based on one network's short-sighted and very bad decision. So, here it is. The new link for our new plans. Please come and check it out: forum.planet-hood.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=52Please keep in mind that if we get word that RS or MS or SG do not want this to happen, then we will discontinue it. But for now, it is too good a thing to lose. And, it will take time for this kind of a thing to happen. So, Roof can go make 'Usher", and MS will have a beautiful little girl to be with....and then they both can reunite for more EH. ;D Sounds like an excellent plan!!

Hi Kate!
It is a work-in-progress, but bear with us.
We are contacting all those sites in that first post over at Planet Hood. Basically, we are letting them know that Eleventh Hour is an amazing show and appealing to them to pick it up. All of our messages can vary, but we mainly want to emphasize that this show comes with a built-in fan base of 12 million plus fans. And you can mention anything else that you believe makes it attractive to any network/station. And there are a lot of things, Rufus Sewell being a big one.
Just so you know, I am sending an email off to Stephen Gallagher today and we are going to proceed based on his response. I will let you all know what is going on. I will try and always update you here, but know that Planet Hood will probably have the most up-to-date info there is.
Thanks for your help. We will need each and every fan to get this done.

Kate, do you mean you can't see the site (can't get access to it) from where you are? If so, let me know and I can copy the page and details for you in a PM. Luvinx, thanks for all your efforts. My fictional Rufus/Jacob/Agamemnon might have moved to the final stage of the grieving process, but I am still in extreme denial/anger.

No problem, rue! I find that having a plan of action is actually really helping me. Now if I could just get rid of this headache.... I sent off the email to SG and a copy of it is at Planet Hood. Talk to you guys later!

Hahaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I NEEDED those CAP ITS! I hear ya Rue. I am going through a roller coaster of feelings: anger, sadness....UTTER DISPAIR..... and now.......HOPE! Hey no matter what happens, it will totally worth a good try! Maybe one of these other networks will actually consider the over 12 million people that watched the show.......

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you. I am largely in a pessimistic mood today, so thanks for sharing your hopefulness.

I'm also hoping another network like USA or maybe Sci-Fi will pick the series up. I'm so disgusted with the networks these days; I understand they need to make money but it seems like the only shows they're interested in anymore are the cheap-to-produce reality series. They no longer give shows the chance to flourish and develop an audience. EH was just starting to really shine and CBS should've given it a second season.

I have only just finished watching the whole series online. I miss it already so I'm about to start watching it all again...starting tonight. Does anyone know when it will be available to buy? I see amazon.com will have it soon (I have a region free player) so maybe I'll buy it from there.

I am FURIOUS! I read the show hadn't been renewed this morning, and I had to cool off before posting. When CBS put that gorey DRIVEL Harper's Island on before the regular viewing season ended, I had a foreshadowing they would not be bringing back EH. And then several days ago I read RS was going to be in a new production about the house of Usher - another sign EH was being pulled.
CBS NEVER really gave this show a FAIR chance.
I am sooooo tired of ignorant, vulgar reality shows. I RARELY watch network television anymore, because most of it is real life people behaving like imbeciles in their quest for 15 minutes of "fame".
With EH we had a character who was not only brilliant (and educational), but he was also very sweetly "naive" while at the same time looking incredibly handsome and sexy. OH! The possibilities! What a terrible LOSS.
I sincerely hope Rufus Sewell is now propelled into major stardom. Not only does he deserve it, but he is entirely capable of it!
My advice to Rufus Sewell - do MORE romances and period pieces. This is what women want - this is your audience. Don't sell yourself short. YOU can do it.

I hate to disagree but that's NOT what I want ---epecially for him. I was glad to be able to see him everyweek and I did like the show but I thought God what a waste of his talent. I wonder if he is bored. Especially after seeing him in Rock-n-Roll. But I knew if he was bored he would be way too professional to ever let it effect his performance. I was hoping it would be a success for him and help his career but I was hoping it was not a series that drags on for years. He seems the type of actor that wants to experience many different types of characters that challenges him. The problem is he will never find that in TV and may not even find it Film because the movies with the great scripts are Indies and don't even get that much exposure and the rest are crap. I go ever week to the movies and only the Indies deserve recognition. The place where the best scripts are..are in the theatre. So come on back to Broadway Rufus !! or get someone to film Rock-n-Roll

I think Rufus will always keep his work varied and do things that he has not done before, especially those roles that challenge him. He has said that himself in interviews. I think he enjoyed the role of Dr, Jacob Hood and although he would not have done it forever, I think he realised that a lot of recognition would come from the show (which doesn't hurt) and also the experience of playing such a character. I will always look forward to whatever he does because for me, as an actor, he has a wonderful presence, allbeit on TV, film, radio or theatre. He is unique in my opinion.
