, what a cool pic! Yesterday I had a meeting with other girls and our spinning wheels and one of the ladys knew Roofie! , that is not common in germany! And she was wondering what i told about TPOTE, because she didn't knew anything about a film! Ha, strike for me! So we discuss some historic books and films while spinning our whool and i told some little storys bout the best actor in my opinion. Is there a fee for advertising TPOTE??? ;D

Hello girls! The website of The pillars has photos of the cast of the series but have someone posted the ones on the site of Tandem Communications? If it is somewhere in the site, please, feel free to remove this one.

You're welcome. GE2, if you go to my website , you will see in the front page an article that says "Los pilares de la tierra se ha movido a Viena" (The Pillars of the Earth moved to Vienna). There are three articles in German where it says that they will start filiming again in Vienna on October 20th. If you click on "traducción" (translation) you can change the translation and make it from German to English and post the articles here. Or you can do it right there.

Thanks, Mia - I do several google searches a day, and usually just right-click for a google translation. (Hilarious though they sometimes are! ;-) ) I don't usually put them up unless there's something new about Rufus.
Anyone can post them if they want to!

He is the best looking, most virile man in the entire cast!

No problem I post those with interesting information and sometimes these articles have amusing and interesting facts and information. I believe it is on these that talk about the length of the series, how many episodes, hours etc.

ok, so, after reluctantly undertaking the imposing task of reading TPOTE, i now got just past page 600, and i realized i have been hooked for a while. the historical background is amazing, and i hope it is not lost in the series. just had a look at the cast, and i must say that most are excellent choice, as they are exactly how i pictured them in my mind, which is also amazing. of course, needless but important to say that roofoos' casting as Tom is dead-on perfect. but since, in the book at least, said Tom is no great talker, we will probably not hear enough of THAT VOICE, and will have to rely more on the expression of THOSE EYES. whatever is the director's choice, its a win-win situation for us!!!
