Tipou , while it is possible that somebody stole your identity and I do not dispute this may have happened ,I think it is far more likely that the thought that the highly respected and talented Mr .Sewell may have read your posts has driven you distracted which is completely understandable. Do not fret.Nobody posting on this site could possibly have lewd thoughts about such a proper person.

Francesca,
Oh really!!!!!!! I think we may just use a different thread for those thoughts.
Don't worry Tipou identity theft is a big problem in America. I understand perfectly.

Check out the web site! There's a nice little pic of Rufus up now! Go to Key Cast, Builders and Peasants. There's also a biography about him. This could be our Mr. Tuesday pic!

Wichiwoman,
Thanks for the update on the posting of info of Rufus on the "Pillars" web site.
I noticed that some of the info is incorrect. It lists "The Ushers" as a project that he is/will be involved with as "in production". And some of the statements in the "trivia" section (about his personal life) are erroneous and/or outdated.
RAI, perhaps you should let Ruf know to read the info for himself. He may choose to have his PR people/agency, whomever, post the correct info. The "Pillars" has a beautifully crafted web site. The facts made about Rufus should be true and current, worthy of him.

I wonder just how much control his PR people have over IMDB and other celebrity sites. I doubt much since his life is pretty much public. I used to wish that he would have his own web site, like other celebrities do, then we would get the true facts. But that would just make his life even more public. Obviously he doesn't want that and I really can't blame him.
If he ever does read this board, he probably thinks one of two things: 1) we should all get a life, or 2) Damn, I'm hot, aren't I? I'll give them another shirtless pic here shortly!!
Ya know, he's right on both! More shirtless pics please!!! And I have a life, there's just room for Rufus-worshipping in it!

The eternal split-personality of (many) Rufus fans: analytical, serious student of film, theater, literature, and the arts in general, versus rabid, drooling, shallow fangirl.

Ah, so you admit now that your "evil twin" doesn't really exist, Rueful?

Just started reading and love this book, someone in my office just finished and said that he loved it, he's a huge history buff and liked that angle. I find the characters so richly written and interesting, Ruf is perfectly cast. BTW in my copy of the book on page 42 there is a mention of Saint Simeon and his pillar ( I laughed out loud when I read that). I am savoring every page.

I'm really looking forward to reading this on vacation. Will look out for Uncle Cullen Saint Simeon, peach! On the contrary, my ET also has a split personality, and so do I. And so do I.

Hey ladies, I just thought of something -- and apologies if this has been brought up already (I haven't read every page).....
I normally don't watch Oprah, but I do remember her SWOONING over Pillars of the Earth a few years ago (I think the entire episode was about it, and she had the author on - I only watched bits and pieces of it). I wonder if she'll end up having the cast (RUFUS) on her show?!
