I just read that before coming on here Rai. It's great news. I hope that means we'll get it here in the UK in December too. The Sun newspaper also reported a December release a couple of months ago. I pleased to see it's been backed up by another paper though. I once saw a Sun report about an incident I was involved in and it had a semblance of truth but had more interwoven fiction than an Aurelio Zen novel ! ;D

Good news indeed! Yes, Nell, I hope it's released here on 10 December, too - I might have to break my never-going-to-cinema-again rule.....maybe.
Thanks, Rai.

I'll definitely go to see this in the theater!! Now the question is ... How big of a part is "The Englishman" and will he get an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor?

Gosh, I can't wait. I never saw a movie with Rufus at the cinema. This would be a premiere ;-)

That will be so great if The Tourist does make it to the big screen by December...we usually have to wait soooo long for Rufus' films to come out, and then sometimes after much anticipation they still don't show locally (hello, Vinyan and Downloading Nancy). If anyone lives in/near MN let me know, I'd love to meet other Rufus Luvers and meet at the MOA (or elsewhere) and have a viewing party. If they show the Tourist at the VIP theater which serves drinks at MOA we could have a really festive viewing party

Thank you, Rai, for bringing this great news to us. I am somewhat late in replying as I have some stupid flu since we returned from San Francisco. Now just knowing that we will see Rufus on the big screen in Dec. of this year instead of having to wait until next year makes me feel so much better !!! Let me do some calculation..... well, we have to wait 112 days until The Tourist is shown. Even though I feel that is way too long to see Rufus in a current production, I will do my best to survive. Thank God for all of you lovely fan-girlies and this board ! 112 days ? Let the count down begin.......................
