I found this on one of Czech blogs (writes by a student - a man (boy)? and here is a very poor translation): An interesting achievement is also eight-miniseries The Pillars of the Earth. History project on forty-millionth budget has already had five parts. Certain obligations to the Middle Ages, lovers who are interested to build a cathedral, which is a kind of novelty. Otherwise it's a classic, all of it - fights, violence, evil Church ... Although the scene is not accessible to children in the miniseries rather strong dose of romance, that is, except for disputes to get the building of the cathedral and the friction in love - and we devour them far more than the modern teenage comedies. Revised book adaptation is done well and certainly quite deliver the broad masses and not just those seeking a higher mission in the work that it actually has a symbolic form of the rise of religious orders, but still offers a pure entertainment without much thought. Rufus Sewell does a good job, even though I hate him extremely of the Knight's Tale, Tristan and Isolde and other movies where he played bad and the ugly zaporaky( baddy) sarthcz.blogspot.com/2010/08/nove-letni-serialy-roku-2010.html

Here is an extended version of the Rufus interview (we have already seen on youtube) about The Pillars of the Earth: www.sat1.de/die-saeulen-der-erde/video/clips/clip_interview-rufus-sewell_32407/Unfortunately the pictures and the tone are not aligned too well. After the commercial there is his interview in English (with German subtitles)... Like his remark: The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

I can see it - but maybe it's just possible to watch in our country? I hope there's a way that you can see it too because it's really nice.

I'm really sorry but I'm afraid I can't help. There' s no chance for me to download or copy this interview. - I've shared your experiences the other way round. As far as I have learned, it is possible to block the content of an Internet page depending on the country of the URL. E.g. I could listen to Dr. Syn, but there was no download possible for non UK listeners.

.....geometrically hunky Rufus Sewell..... ;D I've read many definitions of Rufus's hunky-ness but this one beats them all! Geometrically hunky?!?! What exactly is that supposed to mean?
