I can't seem to keep out of this TotS thread. I watched this for the thousandth time a few days ago, and noticed a little detail for the first time. (Took me long enough!) Petruchio is wearing the exact same clothes everytime they show him (well, before the wedding scene), even though it shows him on different days. Is there a particular reason for this? Is it just a coincidence(sp?)? No big deal, I'm just wondering. I did the same thing! I watched it I don't know how many times and thought about him being in the same clothes........but then got lost in the film again and never thought to ask the question! Michelle

Just wondering...
Does the license plate BAD 4 SYG (at least that's what I *think* it reads) mean anything?

Oh my god, I just got this DVD as a gift (late Xmas gift), and this is the funniest I've ever seen Ru. And so drop dead sexy. What the hell was that Shirley Henderson thinking holding out for so long (she was great by the way)........ AND THOSE LEGS (Ru, not Shirley, although I'm sure she has nice legs too).............................

Shirley was amazing! The way she could turn on a dime from ugly to vulnerable and soft. really something. Rufus utters my fav line in this movie....."Sit on me!" Ha Ha...

Rufus utters my fav line in this movie....."Sit on me!" Ha Ha... Ah, but it's not just what he says, it's the way he says it, right?

Oh yes, such a look of drunken lasciviousness in his eyes. I LOVE this entire scene.

I finally got to see TOTS! I always adore Shirley Henderson...her face is so expressive and that tiny little voice is such fun. Now, on to Ruf. I've never seen him more charming, sexy, and funny. I watched it once with DH, then waited til he was at work the next day to watch it twice more...in a row. Yes, "sit on me" has got to be one of the best lines . but the scene in the lift was one gem after the other! (Lewd thoughts, etc.) I must buy this one.

I always tell new members that TOTS is a must have. I watched it again this past weekend, and you're right, one gem after another! One of my favorite lines from the lift is: "There is something...really very alluring, arousing about the way you move your lips when you...snarl. Talk...say something.

My favorite as well. Recently I had surgery and this is the movie I chose to watch to make me feel good (over and over and over) again. It's fantastic! Definitely need to own it, magicallife -- it's a keeper!

Who doesn't love TOTS huh, Ree? TOTS is just the bomb. Not only because Rufus had a snappy, comedic and sexy role perfectly suited to him, but because all the actors in this were just great. Like with Rufus, to know Shirley Henderson is to love her, IMHO. Stephen Tompkinson was just a hoot as his pal, Twiggy perfect as the mom--her crestfallen face as the limo drives away post nuptuals was priceless. Tim, the assistant and Shakespeare- described budding virgin "Tell me this, and tell me truly..." love that part and his pouting pretty face. Ha Ha. One funny--When Petrushio first bursts into Harry's apt in the beggining of the movie I thought he had asked "Have you eaten a cockaroach?" not "Have you been in a car crash?"--Hee hee But they both apply

I can't get this flick off my mind! Where's the best online place to purchase it? My friend in Boulder is begging me to bring TOTS when I come visit her in a couple months. I'm going to convert her to the Rufian cult. She'll be an easy sell.

I've had good luck dealing with the Amazon Marketplace Vendors. They sell both new & used copies of many of Ruf's films, but there may be other sources with better prices
