When I found that elevator scene posted on youtube, I knew I HAD to have that dvd at any cost! Great scene - love the facial expressions! TOTS is available on DVD now? You're Region 1? I have been using a homemade VHS copy from BBC America over and over and over....I'd really like to have it on DVD. I didn't think I was going to like TOTS -- I usually don't like updated versions of films. It must have something to do with the star.....(*coughs*) You Aussies are in for a real treat! Looking forward to hearing your reaction to it. 7sisters

I finally got my copy of TotS from the UK and finally got to see the final 30 minutes of this film! OH MY GOSH! Loved it, loved it, loved it! They were so cute together in her office, and him telling her that he could just shag her right there in the elevator......then she tells him she's pregnant and having triplets! And I just loved the ending with all the photos of the whole family!!! Now I want to go back to the beginning and watch the whole thing again!!!
AND.......I got my Charles II in as well.........so as soon as I can get people to leave me alone and I can stop having things I must do.......I am sitting down all alone and watching this entire piece and see all the parts I missed by having the US copy "The Last King"!!!!
And by the way..............my all region DVD player works just fine!!! I buy myself the best presents!

Seen it three times now and I still adore it! Thousand times better and funnier than The Holiday. Here you can see that Rufus is a much better and more funny actor than Jude Law. It is just fantastic!

I contacted the nice people at BBC inquiring as to who one must beg to get TOTS released in Region 1 DVD. This was part of their reponse: In order to request the commercial release of this programme in region 1, I would suggest that you put it in writing to BBC Worldwide who are responsible for the commercial release of all BBC products. The address of your applicable Worldwide office can be located via the link below: www.bbcworldwide.com/globaloffices.htmFor future reference, if you want to track down a BBC product, you can visit the following website: www.bbc.co.uk/info/contactus/bbc_products.shtmlI wish you all the best in making a successful request to have the programme released in the format you'd like. :-[Sorry I'm too big a spaz to make the links work. I think that it wouldn't hurt to request some of his early now unavailable work in Regions 1 & 2 also. If enough people request these items they may release a limited edition of some of them. What do ya'll think?

I think that's a great idea Ree. I checked all 3 websites UK, US and Canada and they said, to paraphrase, that they release what they want - when they want, period, so I never even tried. But if you got a non-automated response hell ya, lets do it!

I bought the DVD a month ago, and haven't stopped watching it...Rufus's character's so over the top it's funny.
Now I'm fearing my wedding...the honeymoon scene when they're trying to 'get it on' and over with was really funny. My friend and I could not stop laughing.
