I wonder what size is that skirt he's wearing in the movie? I'd like to borrow it sometime. LOL. ROTFL! Anyone who has met Ruf want to take a guess at to what size skirt he wears? I hear he's a big guy, so maybe no smaller than an 11 .... but is he hippy?

I reckon he kept the outfit. We know what a pilferer he is and he did say it felt comfortable and strangely liberating. I reckon he wears it around Shepherd's Bush of an evening.

yes but does he bother with the make-up?

Have you ever been to Shepherd's Bush? Glamourous it's not. He'd be far prettier than anything for miles around whether he wore make up or not. In fact, he could put eyeliner and lipstick on his arse and he'd still be considered quite a catch in W12.

no, can't say I recall ever being to Shepherd's Bush. Colourful name however. Makes me smile every time I read it--probably the reason Rufus picked it... As to your makeup comment... have you ever thought of becoming a playwright? I think Rufus' arse would be considered quite a catch with or without makeup by people of all stripes in or out of Shepherds Bush. ;D deus, we spend a lot of time talking about this man's rear view...

Yesterday I finally got to see The Taming of the Shrew(s). Well, was this worth waiting for!

Rufus is so funny and sexy in this, isn't he?? The whole cast is great and the script was hilarious. When, oh when, will he get to do some more modern comedy??!! I suppose we'll have to wait 'till he's a huge smash in NY's R & R, and then he will finally have his wished -for pick of whatever well-written comedic roles are being bandied about. (There are so few really well-written farce scripts that even A-list actors have to vie for 'em sometimes. Or their agents. You know what I mean)

Yes, he is! And so different (again). Not that he isn't sexy in his other roles though : ) I don't hope we'll have to wait that long, it means we'll have to wait untill october. For now: thank God mankind invented the dvd.

Saw TOTS again tonight. It's exactly as you all predicted. I'm hooked too. The sheer energy it brings! What can I say what you haven't already? I loved the interaction between Rufus and Shirley Henderson. The lift scene, the look on her face when she was 'summoned' to go to St. James Park, the look on his face when he was distracted by the foto on her passport and compared it to her real face, the bedstruggle and her squeaky, dissapointed little voice when he stood up again. Speaking about voices: what about his "let's get married". And I also loved Stephen Tompkinson. Have you noticed him comparing himself to 'Lucento' in 'Bianca's flat? And his amazed face when Kate told him she loved her job more? I think they all did a wonderful job! Come on BBC, try this again!

This has been bugging me for some time and I dont know if anyone has a dvd with captions (mine isnt captioned) but I cannot work out what Stephen Tompkinson is saying when he is describing Katherine. Face like a "bust shoe???" Some people think she's a dyke or (then something completely unintelligible) or Hitler.
Anyone able to fill in the gaps for me?
