This has all been very interesting & informative! Thank you all so much GE2 It didn't occur to me that it might play on my computer, but I tried It & it did Then I read what Quoll & Pattirose said so I guess this was a temporary reprieve I'd be a little afraid to change the region on my computer, but I guess I'll take you up on getting the codes Quoll. On the other hand mcr5137 has a good point in that the All Region players are very cheap. BTW I looked up the descrip. of TOTS again & it is listed as Format: PAL Region: All Regions. I'm sure that this info. will benefit some of guests as well. Earlier tonight there were 10 guests reading the board!! So I finally got to see TOTS & all I can say is nobody does it better than Rufus when he is enjoying what hes doing!!

Here you go Quoll. It looks to me like it's much the same as the one posted above. www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/showsoftware_remote_selector_433.htmland here is the one that allows you to go to a website with a different IP address. I tried to use it so I could download Victoria Station and I could get to the website and navigate around but I couldn't get Victoria Station to come up. Maybe someone else might have better luck than I did. I've been looking around but haven't been able to find anything that will mask what country you are in. Here it is anyways www.surfingagain.com/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi

so...
I got a nice commentary on TotS this morning which got me to wondering if the Kiwis or the folks from Oz have anything to say now that they've officially seen it.

Well, I had already seen it so nothing new from me and a stunned silence apart from a couple of comments on C19 and Republic of Pemberley. I had hoped for an influx of Aussies to the board - what slowcoaches we Aussie girls are!

Well Australia is a Macho country....
Maybe they're just afraid of ridicule from the men if they admit that a man in a skirt, fishnets & heels can look, as ruthy put it, "So D**n F**ka**e " (our ruthy has a way with words) ;D

Maybe they just didnt think that Petruchio's outfit really wouldnt rate a mention in the G & L Mardi Gras. Remember that this is the home of Priscilla Queen of the Desert!

Ah yes, I did forget about Priscilla! Not all Croc wrestlers then? I liked his outfit! But you're right, it wouldn't stand out at any Mardi Gras! Oh, and thanks a lot, another wonderful fantasy ruined ;D ;D

Fantastic spot into The Taming of the Shrew. Can I get the DVD in New York?

Hello Terri, Welcome At this time The Taming of the Shrew is only available as an All Region/PAL version DVD. Some but certainly not all of the DVD Players sold in the US already have the PAL converter included. Mine didn't. I decided to purchase an All Region/Pal DVD Player thru Amazon recently so that I can also watch European (Region 2) movies. Hope this was helpful. Ree

That's exciting! I'll buy that one to keep at the cabin! Hubby gets really tired of unhooking the region-free player and hauling it up there (it's not that big) and then hooking it up to one of the TV's there. Now I can have TOTS both places! Thanks etb!

I cannot WAIT to see this. I'm so glad they're releasing a Region 1 version. *impatiently awaits July* I saw the elevator clip on youtube a few months ago, and have been DYING to see it. Looks hilarious! Both Rufus and Shirley seem so hilarious in it. *cough* and, I love the whole fishnets/eyeliner thing...is that bad?

I'm sure it will be become one of your favorites too. Ruf is so wonderful in this movie that I was totally surprised that the offers for other comedic roles didn't just start pouring in to him. I like to invite people to watch it without revealing the 'secret'. They are usually very surprised!

Miss October, I can't wait till July either. I already placed my order with Amazon.
I love the "lift bit" but I love the wedding nite scenes even more. I wonder what size is that skirt he's wearing in the movie? I'd like to borrow it sometime. LOL.
I agree Ree, I would love to see him do more comedy. He's brilliant.
