just had to come back on board to tell you all what happened in my house this afternoon. I was generally P****d of having recorded wrong side of this am interview with Roofie and the radio 5 one as well . so I slammed into our computer room/glory hole/dumping ground, headphones on, leaving family to their own devices. Later was joined by sister in law. we were chatting when interrupted by cheers from living room decided to ignore this and carried on.Over the next half hour this went on till we thought we would investigate. And there were M(o)B age 45, sons 9+13. daughter 11, brother age 46 his son16, daughter 12 . All watching" Extreme Ops" and loving every minute and CHEERING Now longer serving members of the board may remember I started this thread and reviewed ex ops very caustically, so you can imagine my astonishment at this carry on. Only down-note ... my sister in law (the one I thought I should tell about the Rooftop) really lowered herself in my eyes when she said "Is Rufus the baddie!!!!

LOL, Frannie! That's so funny that your family loved Extreme Ops! Maybe it would have been better if Rufus had been the baddie.

Judy , do you think my sister in law deserves to be told about The Rooftop? After many years of friendship, I am dismayed to find her sadly lacking something .

No! If she truly is a fan, she'll find her way here.

Nice, PGG - you're really enjoying making screenshots, don't you (and getting quite good at it too)! Thanks!

My DVD arrived today and so there I was watching Rufus as a director, in away he's quite fatherly in this movie...always looking after the youngens, make sure they behave and everyone's allright . That's what I like about this one. Don't mind watching it again actually

That was an aspect that appealed to me, too, him being the mature guy trying to keep the young wild boys and girls from doing something too risky and stupid.

Yeah, I think its a sweet film, I liked him in this especially when he was nice to the professional skier. And he does look cute in a ski jacket.

i am sorry, but even though rufus does an honorable job here given the context, and even though he truly looks cute, this movie is a real dud, and a worthy entry in my "why, oh why have i spent time watching this flick" list.
i admire you gals to try and find some good points to it, it shows you truly are optimists and loyal fans.
so, after consulting with the "rufus dictionary"thread, i declare this "movie" a rufington, a true case of rufing.

Oh yeah I agree but it is funny (because it is so bad) and there is some good acting on Rufus' part at least.
