Oh yes, the Charles II theme music is beautiful. The T&I and DB music should be included, too.
I'll have to update the list soon, I guess.

I was wondering what had happened to this.

It is developing nicely, nell, well at least on my side the list is growing. I have labeled and titled all of my little music treasures according to my favorite Rufus' performances. I will add the music from Illuminata (Oh, yes! I do have that one now and it is pure pleasure!!!), and probably some new additions I am expecting to have in my post box these days.

Would you be so kind to post a list of the titles as soon as you're finished, choc? Then we'll add the stuff we've already collected here to make a complete overview.

The exact order and the number for every character may vary. And also we haven't included some tunes from many films: A man of no importance -this I haven't seen yet so don't know if the music was special; Eleventh Hour- the opening tune; The Pillars of the Earth- I have to see it again to select any tunes from the series Vinyan, but I guess we don't really feel the desire to be reminded of Paul too much; Carrington Amazing Grace Paris, Je T'Aime Middlemarch Victory- this one I haven't seen as well, so not much of an input from me And also, keep in mind that I may have done some mistake in the names here and there, I do not own most of the soundtracks.
The second part of the list will post either later today, or tomorrow.

, thanks for your effort, choc! ("Love of Heaven" is from Uncorked, though ) The opening of Eleventh Hour and POTE should definitely be included, I'd also want to put in "Amazing Grace" and the theme from Middlemarch. AMONI has "Let's Do It (Let's Fall In Love)" by Eartha Kitt during the end credits, I think that would be nice to have, too.

I think the song you mentioned should stay in the right movie, just corrected the list. Forget about my previous post, I deleted it already. I am working on the second list at the moment. Will post it shortly.

I just updated the first list. I think, even if someone want to add more or to omit some of the tracks, with the list will be easier. The second part, though, is more of a question of preferences and associations. I'll start with my first favorite:
• "Twist in my Sobriety" Tanita Tikaram • "Let's Fall in Love" Diana Krall • "Somebody to Love" Queen • "Till There Was You" The Beatles • "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" The Beatles • "Kiss Me Quick" Elvis Presley • "Fever" Elvis Presley • "Nobody Does It Better" Carly Simon • "Thing For You" Jann Arden • "And So It Goes" Billy Joel • "Dangerous Dance" Dolores Keane • "Close To You"The Carpenters • "Mad About A Boy" Dinah Washington • "Morning Brings the Light" Grand Union • "Jane Jane" Grand Union • "Riot on an Empty Street" Kings of Convenience • "I’d Rather Dance With You" Kings of Convenience

I think we can have some more additions to both lists with the time passing by. I will have for sure. I'll wait for a while for you to say what do you think of those lists, because it is possible that I have missed some, especially in the second part.

I have to say one thing about Dangerous Grounds, though. I found a very nice dance version called "Dance on Dangerous Grounds", but I am not sure this is the one we are looking for, because Dolores Keane has a different style of music. I am not acquainted with her music, so I'm not sure which would be the right one for our album. That is what I found youtu.be/BWPwLHu5jEw

Thanks for searching, choc, but I'm afraid this is really something else.
I have tried in vain to find "Dangerous Dance" on youtube, seems to be a rather little-known song that I encountered on some old Celtic-music compilation.

I did a first test today of a combination between list 1 and 2. They definitely work quite well for me.

I only remembered the connection because I used it for a fanfic story, but I've been thinking for a long time that Simon & Garfunkel's "I Am A Rock" has the perfect lyrics to describe Mick Carpenter. Any other new suggestions?
