'Drop Dead Gorgeous' by Republica maybe?
To me that will always be a MM song but Rufus could certainly pull it off!

Since Frannie asked me what I had put on my Rufus album, here's the playlist: - Barenaked Ladies: This Is Where It Ends (from "Uncorked") - Billy Joel: Piano Man (because of the famous piano man pic) - Tanita Tikaram: Twist In My Sobriety (for some reason, it makes me think of this pic: ) - The Corries: Skye Boat Song (the singer's voice reminds me of Rufus's voice in a way) - Joe Loss & His Orchestra: Begin the Beguine (IASL) - some snippets from IASL (the end credits and voiceover, the music from the love-making scene and that from the station scene) - Elisa Waut: Sad King (for Lord Marke) - Grand Union: Hares on the Mountain - Jeff Danna: Ross' Concert - Sara Clancy: Love of Heaven - Kings of Convenience: Homesick - Queen: We Will Rock You - The Beatles: Yellow Submarine - William Bolcom: Illuminata Rag - Zen opening credits - Yma Sumac: Gopher Mambo - Loreena McKennitt: The Mystic's Dream (this was a piece of music I listened to a lot when I was reading TPOTE - it makes me see thick old abbey walls and monks and builders in my mind's eye) - Eartha Kitt: Let's Do It (Let's Fall In Love) - from AMONI - Simon & Garfunkel: Baby Driver (reminds me of sweet Robbie Fay!) - Pablo Neruda: Ode to a Beautiful Nude - Sophie Zelmani: Wind Took My Sail (for Mick) I also have put all the songs I chose as soundtracks for my fanfic stories on CD

Thanks for sharing your list Kate This is my favourite list --- not really surprised that several are the same.
I'll be watching you ...The police ... my theme to my Agamemnon story.
Hares on the Mountain...Grand union ( Caspar's band
On the Street where you live ( because of the scene in Gone to Seed with the bare derriere.)
Wonderful woman ... The S though I think it ought to be Sweet and Tender Hooligan.miths because of Loutisza
Viva La Vida ... Cold play because of Marke and Agamemnon.
I'd rather dance with you ... Kings of Convenience
Mad about the Boy ,,, Dinah Washington ... because it sums up me and Roofie. Ross's Concert ... because it is just beautiful
We will Rock you ... Because I love Adhemar
The theme from Zen.. that walk across the road in Rome is the sexiest thing imaginable
Begin the Beguine... Joe Loss ... I don't have to explain that to you Kate
The nearness of you ... Tom Jones ... Cos that sums up me and Roof.
Yes I've done a playlist of my story theme songs too
And I have three favourite short list of poems
Yes of course ... Ode to a beautiful nude ... Pablo Neruda
The soldier ... by Rupert Brooke
The Potato Clock... Roger McGough
Has anybody else beside me and Kate done a playlist?
Please share with us.

Lovely playlist! And I'm totally not surprised that we share some favourites I forgot to mention two more songs I've picked for Mick: - Bruce Springsteen: If I Should Fall Behind - Vaya Con Dios: Far Gone Now Also, "Badlands" by Springsteen reminds me of Jacob because numbat used it as a soundtrack for one of her EH fanfics.
