I love the scene where Frank's trying to get a cab without success, and then Daniel gets one with no trouble at all - it's the evil look on Rufus's face that gets me every time!

Watched this again yesterday after seeing all the wonderful screencaps and wallpapers and becoming familiar with Rufus' zany comedy mannerisms and beguiling expressions over the last months on this site! So enjoyed the film this time round. It's clear from this film that Rufus does like playing comedy and is in his element playing the zany character of Frank. He is so lovable in it really. There are so many funny moments from him in it! Yes GE2 the scene where he tries to call a taxi and then Daniel just get one is special!! His facial expressions are priceless!! He is so so talented to play anything at all. I would love to see him in more comedy!!

I also have to say that this quirky little film gets better and better after rewatching. The first time when I watched it, I didn't think anything special about it but after second and third so many little scenes are stuck, and Rufus has clearly the best scenes. In my opinion he steals the show. Tom Hollander is great too but with that wig or dyed hair and the clothes he wears he just draws attention.

It does get better and better with each viewing. I love Tom Hollander too, but his teeth in this are awful.. I am sure he must have had them all done now as I don't remember him having such teeth in Pride and Prejudice!! Rufus definitely steals the show in this film! Like you have said he just needs a good woman to sort him out or someone to mother him and look after him! ;D ;D

In my opinion he steals the show. Even Mr. Kate had to admit that ;D You're right, it gets better with re-watching, and Rufus does his very best NOT to make Frank what many reviews say he is, just a grumpy ex-kid star with an alcohol problem. Actually I wonder how people get that impression, as Frank has quite a lot of scenes that show his funny or tender side, although he does have a sarcastic view of the world.

I love that last pic with the boys sitting on the Underground sign. Nice! And I know I've got a thing about his hands ... but aren't they just lovely in the first large pic?

I love the look on his face in the second pic. I think he has even more "little boy lost" looks in this film than he does as Ross.
Thanks, PGG.

The text is basically not much more than the DVD blurb, but here's my attempt at translation:
Martha is fed up with Los Angeles. So she spends her last money on a one-way ticket to London where she wants to start over again. But then she meets Frank, Daniel and Laurence. And each of them falls in love with Martha in his own way. There's a problem to the whole story, though: the three men are old friends. And true pals share everything - almost. Martha and friendship don't mix. Each of them wants her, no one actually has her. And Martha herself? She has no idea what she got herself into. And when she finds out after all, things become really chaotic ...
MMDF&L is a young British rom-com with a fresh and unconventional ensemble of actors, finally clarifying whether love is really a sin.
The ultimative movie for holding hands.
(It's not really the best of blurbs ;D )
