I like that - very funny! I've just watched the video on the PBS site with Ed Stoppard saying that the atmosphere on set was so great because of Rufus - he says he was so happy and jolly that it rubbed off on everyone - that's so sweet

I noticed some of the cuts, but agree they did a better job than last week. That was a good scene they cut out! Seems they just cut bits and pieces this time. The last episode is even better than the other two.
Mostly good reviews. Any ratings or numbers? Not sure PBS makes that available.

Hubs gave me a hard time again, but this time my step-daughter was there and she took my side! LOL.....Think it'll be ok from here on out....
I agree that the edits were a lot less noticable than last week. And I'm loving all the press Rufus is getting out of this!

Judy! Hubby and I watched Cabal last night. Hubby was very impressed that Tania could run and not have a "wardrobe malfunction" while helping her boss when he had the heart attack. (Whatever!) I wanted to ask him "who cares about Tania?" but refrained. ;D

LOL Judy! Love the gator!
LOL Wichi, I am sure my husband would be impressed by Tanias skills if he were to watch it. I send him to the man cave to watch baseball while I watch Zen. Otherwise he would be flipping to catch scores/updates and thats a no no when Rufus is on!

Hi, I think that I am a little confused...I thought that he did call his friend at the beginning of the show to ask about apartments. I haven't really gotten all of the names to faces yet, but it was the friend who runs the detective agency. I don't have the DVDs (yet...) or a DVR (yes, yes, I know... dark ages of technology and all of that... ), so do the DVDs sold via PBS have the deleted scenes on them?

Hi keftiugirl, My Region 2 DVD from the BBC says 262 minutes, and has the full episodes. The PBS Region 1 DVD on the shopPBS site says it's 266 minutes, so the US PBS DVD version should be complete episodes also. (Don't know why there is 4 minutes difference between the two.) The only reason there are cuts on the episodes PBS is airing is so they can include their promos/commercials at the beginning and end of the 90 minutes they are allowing for each episode. The scenes aren't really "deleted" scenes as are commonly known for feature-length films. I just noticed what was missing when I watched on PBS compared to what I knew to be on the DVD. They only clipped what they aired to fit the time allowed. But for Cabal, I watched the DVD on my computer as it was airing on PBS, so it was easier to see what they cut for time. The episodes on the DVDs are complete and uncut.

I usually don't put much stock in IMDB but if you look at the stats this series has pushed his ratings way up here and in fact this series tracked as well here as in UK A very good sign

Nice tumblr post, Anna. Sure that wasn't you? ;D LOL, Judy! Those are great gifs! PrairieGirl, thanks for the videos of the missing scenes. I think I might have to have my fangirl card revoked! How could I forget a "Zen in bed" scene?

I think I might have to have my fangirl card revoked! How could I forget a "Zen in bed" scene? That's alarming indeed You will have to atone for that somehow. I think re-watching that scene a hundred times might be adequate.
