I've uploaded mp3 files of Arcadia, done as a radio play. (The one being discussed on the previous page.) It stars Rufus as Septimus Hodge, and Bill Nighy, Sam West, Harriet Walter, and others as well. It's really entertaining (although some of the math concepts make my brain hurt).
If anyone wants access to it, send me a PM.

Funny how the work of The Rooftop is always more compelling than actual work.

Maybe it can be interesting - I think the explanation is very clear and the illustrations are wonderful. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iM0cR7qvmgYI love Arcadia and although I like Stoppard's plays very very much it is my favourite. "Septimus: My lady, take Fermat into the music room. There will be an extra spoonful of jam if you find his proof."

, Adina! That's pretty cool. I've only had time to watch about 10 minutes of it, but that is 10 more minutes of voluntary mathematics exposure than I have ever agreed to in my entire life! At first it seemed like he's would be speaking in a sort of a dull manner, but you're right, all his explanations are very, very clear and interesting. I'll be interested to hear the rest later. How in the world did you find this? Thanks for posting it.

Very cool video, Adina! Thank you for sharing the link. Like Rueful, I just watched the first section and now I understand Fermat's Last Theorem! LOL! I'm not sure what good it will do me in the future, but it'll make listening to Arcadia more understandable, I'm sure! (And that is on my to-do list for this weekend!)

Reading Anniem's scans first I beacuse of the green pic, then... Did Rufus play this part in real world? When he was in the Seagull, I hope he wasn't "the butler".

Did you actually see Arcadia ? Glad you like the pictures. But no, I didn't actually see Arcadia, the programme was something I collected when I was working on a small website about Bill Nighy in 2002.
