:(Thanks both for the link and the pictures. I just had a look at amazon about Arcadia and they also offer a theatre guide to it. I wondered whether anyone on the board knows anything about this book?

I went to see this with my class, I was studying for my English A levels and Our tutor took us. Didn't know that this was Rufus (It wasn't till 1998 that I fell for Rufus, in MMFD&L) but I do remember that everyone was talking about Septimus for a while afterwards (Most of us thought he was very cute). Very good play and Rufus was great. It made my head hurt but luckily it was all explained to us back at College. Even when I re-found rufus I didn't realise that he was Septemus until I went to see Macbeth and read his bio.

Arcadia sweetened my way to work last week. Loved the radio play (and was quite surprised how well I understood it ). The carnal embrace was one of my favourites, too, that made me laugh out loud I'd have loved to see that on stage *sigh* Had wonderful images of wild-haired green-eyed Septimus Hodge before my mind's eye, though

I completely forgot to mention this - I have also listened to this last week. Loved it, especially of course the parts with Septimus Hodge. I agree the carnal embrace part was so good. I've ordered the play and will read along while listening to it again. I just don't want to miss any of Stoppard's brilliant dialogues I always had the pictures of Rufus' Septimus Hodge in my mind and must admit that I fell head over heels in love with him. ;D ;D

Another picture. We must have it already. I like this board, but I don't like all these categories, though I do realise that all the admins do their best (and work hard) to put things in order.
