Watched the movie for the first time and liked it too. Rufus is good in comedy - and his hair, and eyes and...!

He's not called Sexy Seth hereabouts for nothing!

Was also astonished that Rupert Penry Jones appeared in a small role, cause I like him very much. (sorry Rufus! )

www.theguardian.com/books/booksblog/2013/dec/03/reading-group-cold-comfort-farm-stella-gibbons"I'm pleased to say that we have 10 copies to give away to the first 10 UK people to post "I want a copy please", alongside a nice comment relevant to the book." Take part in the game of The Guardian, UK members, if you don't have the book. It is a fun read, although a malicious kind of fun. I have read in a review this very true sentence about what the main difference is between the book and the film: "the book gently hates everyone including Flora, while the film gently loves them all instead." Well, I enjoyed reading the book. My favourite quote is (of course ): "Seth, of course, was always busiest in the spring." But I like this one, too: ""I goes over to Beershorn," replied Seth, rather sulkily. The dark flame of his male pride was a little suspicious of having its leg pulled." So, play and read the book! And to make my post beautiful... Rufus and Yasmin attend the premiere of Cold Comfort Farm, 24/4/97 (photo Richard Lewis) (Rufus is wearing that famous Dries Van Noten red shirt. )

Nice photo!
I second Adina's opinion of the book. It really was a fun read (and I even have a copy with Rufus and his co-stars on the cover!)
