Thank heaven I'm a great procrastinator these days - I wanted to fix flight and accommodation this weekend!  Now I think I'll attend my class meeting on Oct1st.....and postponed is not abandoned! |

Oh, Judy, what a shame.  But like Walt said, postponed is not abandoned, so we look forward to getting your new dates. Still this year? Hope you won't be out of pocket re flights and accomodation. |

Probably will be later this year. I'm hoping maybe about a month later. Unfortunately, I was not as wise as Walt and had already purchased my airline ticket. So it's going to cost me some $$ to change the dates. Oh well. Life happens that way sometimes. |

Bad news. I'm going to have to change the dates of my trip. I'll keep you posted and as soon as I know what the new dates are, I'll let you know. Really sorry to hear this Judy. Having missed you last time, I was looking forward to meeting you. Still, hope I can make the new dates. |

Oh how disappointing Judy! I don't expect your colleague is too thrilled either I hope you don't loose out too much on $$'s. I'm hoping I can make the new date. A month later would be good for me too as I'd struggle to get there for any more than a day until the end of October. 8 October is my wedding anniversary so that's a bit of a no no for a day trip too. I'll keep my fingers crossed you manage to rearrange. |

Okay! After much juggling of staff schedules, I have made my new travel plans! Yaaaay!!!  I'll be arriving in London early, early, early (6:55 a.m. anyone?) on Thursday, 27 October and will be departing early on Wednesday, 2 November. I've got no clue if we'll be able to set up a screening of Rock 'n Roll at the V&A or not. I haven't heard a peep from them since I e-mailed back telling them we could only do the screening on a Saturday. Even if I do hear back from them now, I'll just have to tell them "Sorry, but the dates have changed completely!" We could always just get together for lunch or a drinky-poo or whatever! |

Lucky me having the sense to keep on lurking even if I don't really have time to post or participate - I was recently thinking about looking into flights for end of September.  Anyway, sorry that you had to change plans Judy - I will try to make it over to London at the end of October, but can't say for sure yet. |

That weekend is my sons birthday so I am sorry but I wont be able to come. Am really disapointed but maybe another time. There is no way I could come what with Parties and everything.

Oh darn it all to heck! (don't you like the way I swear?  ) I was afraid this would happen, Dippy. One of these trips I'll get to meet you in person! PGG, I understand what you're saying about a "full programme!" That sounds like my list of the things I want to do and see on this trip! Don't worry too much about it. I'll be coming back to England many, many times in the future. I hope to get the chance to meet up with as many Rooftoppers as I can. |
