Sewell will play Samael, Lucifer's partisan who urges him to start the rebellion in Heaven.  Yay! Thanks for finding this, Judy! I can totally see this. Rufus...as the ultimate persuader, who can convince people to act in ways totally uncharacteristic of their normal behavior (ahem). So persuasive that he can tempt the ultimate tempter, Lucifer. Yes. Definitely. |

When I heard about the character (one of which I completely forgot about) my mind instantly travelled back to this other fine Rufusy persuader...   I honestly can't wait to see this film. Just imagining Rufus perhaps reciting some of the most gorgeous writing I personally have ever read makes me wonder if I'm going to need to be strapped to my seat in the cinema (to keep me from running and jumping toward the screen in happiness) and have a medic closeby. I'm really hoping for a big release of the film not just for Rufus but for the book itself. It truly is a masterpiece and I am ecstatic that Rufus will be a part of this project!!! |
