It's funny how 1 thing leads to another. An off the cuff comment lead me to look up the guy on Rufus's left in a SDCC pic. He turned out to be Jack Huston and Gerald Drake in Parades End (Sylvia's former lover). Then I discovered there was a Parades End series 50 years ago.  Robert Eddison played Duchemin. He's described in the article as "something straight out of a horror film" .
