Such exciting news! Parade's End is going to be so BIG! There is a lot to do about this prestigious series overhere in Belgium...it's supposed to be one of the "crown jewels" in a series of events that are planned to comemmorate "100 years Great War" (so maybe it will only be broadcasted by 2014??) Anyway...last September they were filming here in West Flanders, it was everywhere on the news here. As a warbuff I've been following the news about this series, now I will follow it even closer Let's hope Rufus will have a BIG cameo

"Delicious"!! Yaaaay! I'm guessing that means it's a role he's going to thoroughly enjoy playing. What a happy Christmas present for him.

You know, I think I would give a very large sum of money to hear Rufus say the word 'delicious' to me, personally.....sorry for the tangent (hormones, I guess).

Perhaps it'll inspire Tom to offer Rufus a great role in a play - here's hoping! From an interview with Sir Tom in the Sydney Morning Herald: He has not penned a play since Rock 'n' Roll and is eager to return to his prime creative occupation.
''I owe myself a play,'' he says. ''I think of myself as somebody who writes for the stage, really. I write for film or, in this case, television when I haven't got a play cooking. In the end you have to decide whether the reason you haven't got a play cooking is you are doing this other stuff.''
He is toying with a play about the occupation he once followed, journalism. Stoppard has written on the subject before but much has changed since he penned Night and Day in 1978. ''I've been thinking for ages now that I want to write another play about journalism because I didn't really think that Night and Day was the last word on the subject from my point of view,'' he says. www.smh.com.au/entertainment/theatre/leaving-no-trace-of-genius-20111208-1ojoi.htmlSo there you go - Rufus is getting in some practice by playing a journalist in "England Their England" so he'll be perfect for the role in Sir Tom's new play!

I like the Christmas banners, too...so far I vote for the string of lights, but I haven't seen them all yet, so I think you need to keep changing them!
