That interview webpage kept crashing on me (probably due to my settings or something), so thanks for the info about what SG said, GE2! It did take a while to load for me, too, Rueful. You could try their home page at www.gashouseradio.com and do a search from there? Re the DVDs, I wonder why all our Continental members are having theirs held at Customs? I think most of the UK ones went straight to the address. Weird!

Very sweet of Dad. Enjoy! Yes, he's a sweetie my Dad! Well, I've finally watched Hotel Noir, and ..... I'm not sure what to make of it. I've enjoyed it of course - would be hard not to enjoy watching Rufus - but I must admit I found the whole thing a tad confusing and difficult to follow. Maybe it's just me? Will have to find time to watch it again ... ;D

Barbicanbelle - No, I don't think it's you. There were two plots that kind of intertwined (and some scenes that weren't related to anything else in the movie) but didn't (I my opinion) really relate to each other. Next time you watch, just focus on the Rufus plot line - and not just because it's Rufus! - that is really the most interesting part of the movie.

I just finished watching this and I have to say I liked it, even if I found the beginning rather confusing with all those people thrown into the mix that seemed entirely unconnected to each other. The more the plotlines got tied up, the more I enjoyed watching. Rufus was great as ever, and simply ravishing to look at in his classical 50's attire I liked his world-weary, enigmatic Felix very much who kept me guessing until the end which side he was really on. So much for now. I'm not really awake enough to give any insightful comment, but I wanted to share my first impression and will add some more to the discussion once I have read up on all your spoilers I had avoided reading before watching the movie.
