Glad you got to enjoy some family gatherings Midoro. That is the worst part of socially distancing. We have been trying to see other family members while masking up though.
Yes we are replacing the floor. Unsure of replacing the wood floor with wood vs tile or other.
We did carry out for our anniversary back in May.
Have a great week!

Midoro, so happy that you were ablbe to have a fairly safe family gathering. I have to say I envy you your good public transportation. It is almost non-existant here where I live.
Kygal - when we re-did our kitchen floor we got vinyl. Heavier than linoleum and not as prone to chipping as tile. But I have to say I do love hardwood floors.
It was very fallish this weekend and the trees here are starting to change color. But it's going to warm up to the high 70s by Friday.

We are leaning towards the vinyl plank flooring just for durability. We have wood now. We may get the wood look though. Like the idea of scratch and water proof. We spend a lot of time in our kitchen...lol.
Rain today but mild.

I totally agee about the vinyl flooring - scratch proof and waterproof is important to me since I'm a very messy cook. Can't count the number of times I've dropped knives, etc. on the floor and slopped water from the sink!
Had a productive day today despite the 4 zoom meetings. Today is a work from home day and since I started early - right after breakfast - I think I might just knock off a litte early.
I hope we don't get your rain tomorrow. It was a great day today, sunny and warm. A perfect spirng day, oh wait - it's fall. I'm sure the temps will be dipping again soon.

Durability is what sold me about the flooring. I admire anyone who can be productive working at home. I am not sure I can be productive at home as I am easily distracted. LOL! Maybe I could be for a day or two in the winter.
Going to be 80F today then 50F on weekend. Fall weather is always changing.

Well, I know what I’ll be doing this weekend. We had a windy night and this morning our front lawn was covered with dead leaves. They never changed color, just turned brown and fell. One of the reasons fall is not my favorite season.
Had some bad/sad news today. The co-chair of one of my committees let me know she couldn’t make our online meeting since she now has coronavirus.

Of course today Friday is absolutely lovely and tomorrow and Sunday are going to be cold and rainy. I need to rake leaves - hate to have to wait until they're no longer a soggy mess.

Alexa lied! She said today was going to be cold and rainy but the weather was great. Spent the morning with daughter handing out literature about how/where to vote in our county. Then in the afternoon husband, daughter, and I raked and bagged leaves, 9 bags worth. If it does rain tonight, as Alexa is still claiming it’s going to do, by the morning the front yard will be completely covered again.

You were certainly more productive than me/us. Kind of a dreary day here.

As expected, woke up yesterday and the front lawn was covered in leaves. But it rained all day so no raking for me! Just as well as I was still sore from the day before. Rainy and cold yesterdaym jsut cooler today. It was actually 30 degrees cooler on Sunday than Saturday. Hate the way the weather swings about this time of year. Can't belive this weekend is the end of Daylight Savings Time.

I enjoy the extra hour of sleep but dont like the early darkness. Takes me a week to adjust. You and I live where the weather can be a mystery in the spring and fall. I also cant believe this is the last week of October.

Can't beleive it's only Tuesday. So gloomy and wet today. It makes the day go so slowly. I'm hoping Halloween is good weather. Daughter made up 50 bags of candy to hand out and I really, really don't want all that candy left around afterward.

Our neighborhood has grown up. Usually dont have a lot of trick or treaters. I have may bags ready to go though. Wonder about the turn out though.

We have lots of little kids in our neighborhood. And a lot of people who decorate for Halloween - I'm talking the whole front yard turned into a graveyard, blow-up figures, ghosts hanging from trees, the whole 9 yerds. So I'm thinking we may get quite a few. But it may be rainy all week if the latest hurricane keeps to it's current predicted path.
