*confused*

don't know. I mean yes it is but there was also Will and Billy so... I'm not sure to whom they (who was it that made the comment?) were referring. Shall I just put all three to cover our bases?

Oh, it was me who said William in reference to PJT so I guess include PJT and Middlemarch (because it was nominated seperately) and not GTS because it wasn't nominated.

I love love love the scene in The Woodlanders where the chick Grace dumps him. It's so sad, makes me all teary eyed. He's so fluffy and cute in that scene.
CCF: my fave is I think where he shows Flora his photo collection but I'm not sure about that one.
Sachem: he's fluffy and cute throughout, isn't he? Hard to pick!

As Giles, either the dumping scene - yes it is sad as he realizes what is happening. Also, the scene where he is setting up his dinner party and she arrives early and he is all disheveled and nervous. He continues to sit at the table with that innocent, proud smile because she is at his table so totally unaware that they have displaced him to a lower level than themselves. Even I am uncomfortable watching the scene but Giles is just so pleased with himself. A puppy!

My favorite Ross scene in Sachem has got to be the one where he is lying in the dirt in front of the mine. There is just something so childish and childlike about it. I find it really charming... and then I want to slap him.
Of course that probably isn't what we're looking for here, I think.
I think I have to go with the "give us a kiss" scene in this category.

Even I am uncomfortable watching the scene but Giles is just so pleased with himself. A puppy! I know! I could hardly bear to watch it. Rufus is so good at grabbing onto the skirts of our empathy and pouring his heart out! Oh, and welcome home Tink! Another good scene from Woodlanders is the one where Giles and Grace meet on the road. He is bringing the empty apple cart home and she is waiting for her errant husband to return from a 'house call'. Giles is very sweet, playing the part of the humble worker. Gradually he warms to her again, smiles, they wistfully speak of Bittersweets, and that walking home together would be ill advised. One of my favorite scenes from At Sachem Farm is a continuation of the lying on the ground scene. Ross and Kendal are speaking of insurance and he says "But we're the vandals, my Uncle's the Vandal, I am the vandal's nephew, the vandals are us" Then they go on to discuss the Sunk Cost? business theory involving cutting your losses and getting out before losing more money. Ross gets it all muddled and Kendal says "No! No! DARLING you've remembered it backward." Rufus was pouty cute admitting his error, but not too embarrassed to ask to borrow her car and some cash. My other favorite scenes were at the beginning of the movie when Kendal & Ross are on the couch. She says he's being dramatic, and Ross says "Dramatic, I'll show you dramatic and grabs her up into his lap as though she were a tiny thing. It must have all been rehearsed but she certainly looked surprised. The other was at he dinner table. Ross trying to keep a straight face, and failing, while the strangely peculiar Mr. ?? was singing for them.

lol! Maybe the list should only be 3 pictures. or wait, is that only 2? anyway, I'd better stay out of this. Cute and fluffy is not one of my favorite looks on Rufus. I don't want to skew the scenes.

Regarding the "give us a kiss..." scene, I also love the GTS scene where he follows her up the stairs and says "what am I going to do to you" scene. But this is so not cute and fluffy.

But this is so not cute and fluffy. did you want me to add Gone to Seed to the list? Do you think that scene qualifies for fluffy and cute or just a general remark here? So far no one much is speaking up about the other pictures on the list. Come one, come all and tell us the scenes you like about the films you mentioned...

I've got to do a little research first, Maxx. That will take some time, but we've got a couple of weeks left, right?
