Great news!! Rufus & Sinead and the play have been nominated for the Evening Standard Award. No surprise here. Excellent news! With all the fabulous reviews on this play I would have been surprised if it had not gotten some nominations somewhere! It's always nice to see an actor get recognition for doing tremendous work and if anyone deserves some recognition, it's the MAN! Michelle

Wonderful!!! Now, let's get organised - they deserve to win on merit (of course), but who do we bribe to make sure?! Should we start a slush fund....?

Surely that is just a misprint........I mean he wouldn't dare star in a play good enough for an award nomination and not tell us? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ;D

Not only that he looks like a 60-something 6'5" ex-vampire from New Jersey. Frank doesn't have green eyes either... must be contacts. For anyone who like me is a theatre geek, Nixon/Frost is coming to NYC this spring. I saw it in London and enjoyed it very much. Could have been Frank...

Could have been Frank... Nope - I read in one of the reports of the nominations that there was great surprise that Langella wasn't a nominee. I heard , however, that he was at one of the last performances of R&R (checking out the competition for Mr Sheen, maybe?! ) GE2

No I meant it could have been Frank that I enjoyed about Nixon/Frost. I love to watch him work and he's was and still is one of my favorites in the theatre, but it could have been no one but Rufus who is a league all of his own these days.

LOL! No I meant it could have been Frank that I enjoyed about Nixon/Frost. ;D Ooops - sorry, it's late and I'm very tired... My friend's friend used to be a journalist, and was once sent to interview Frank when he was in his prime - but she was a HUGE fan of his, and had to sit on her fangirly inclinations and *be* a professional about it...and promptly swooned as soon as he left afterwards!
