Hello everyone, I'm new to this message board, so you will kindly excuse me if this message of mine appears as a reply to someone else:) It is not. It's actually a question:) Just looked for this nick silver plant and realized that it's latin name is Nicotiana Silvestris ( hope i got that right).
Does anyone know whether Rufus Sewell smokes? Cause his voice sounds as if smokes quite a lot (i noticed the difference in voice between the period i didn't smoke and the one i smoked, and , indeed, it makes the voice a bit more coarse). Even if he doesn't , it still sounds as if , but i was just wondering if the fact that he has THIS particular (type of )voice was one of the reasons for being chosen to play in this gem.

Rufus used to smoke a lot when he was younger but gave up a few years ago. His voice is perfect in "Nick Silver", isn't it?  |

I've been lurking for awhile and been a Rufus fan for years, and can't believe I've never heard this. I've looked all over the internet and only found a part of it, not the entire thing. Is it possible someone could send it to me? The bit I heard has me dying to hear the entire thing.  Thank you! |

OK, so I listened to this for the first time last night. Oh. My. God. I could feel my heart melt as I listened to this. I mean...  . I had that part barbicanbelle mentioned stuck in my head as I went to sleep last night. "Like my own private planet..." I had also taken Judy's suggestion (Thanks for the audio, BTW) that I listen to this in bed with the lights off. I think that added to it a lot. It was divine. I have a strong feeling I shall do that again in the near future. |
