Hi! Come and check out the happenings at Planet Hood. For those of you who don't know, we got a little 'nibble' from a network. Come and see! www.planet-hood.net/campaignOh, and I forgot to mention guys. When writing to the networks, please do not flood them with emails. Be thoughtful and respectful. One well written letter from the heart is more important than letters sent en masse. Please be considerate in your campaigning. Thank you!

And make sure to only send one; we definitely do not want to flood their emails. We have set up a 'Contact Calendar' over at Planet Hood in order to coordinate our emails by date. Check it out. forum.planet-hood.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=61

Does RS know what we are doing trying to get the show back on the air? I'm hoping we can get this on one of the cable stations - maybe we can get a few "risque" storylines if we do! (There I go again hoping for love scenes and some nekkid RS on my screen!)

(There I go again hoping for love scenes and some nekkid RS on my screen!) Hey! It is a lot of work we are doing and we need ALL the inspiration we can get! Nothing wrong with hoping.... As for if he knows, I would say 'yes'. Only because we have SG's ear and he was going to talk to the cast and crew after the cancellation and let them know that he, as well, was gonna look for any opportunity to bring it back.

Hey Kel, you are all working so hard over at Planet Hood and I feel a bit redundant at the moment as I have not helped out much yet. I have my 2 last exams today and tomorrow, so after that I will be over to Planet Hood and sending e-mails like a mad woman!! I am sure Rufus knows all about the campaign and as you say, through SG too. I think you have made an impact already and I admire all that you and the others are doing. Elliex

Just do well on your exams and that will make us all happy. And then we can get you and monopolize you. ;D I just made some changes over there, kinda re-organized the whole thing, and I think it will make it all a lot easier and manageable for everyone. Oh, and WE have made an impact. WE, meaning you too.

With her permission, I'm reposting a message from ObsidianJade, an active member of the campaign to renew Eleventh Hour. I'm not using the official quote box because the type is too tiny for us old folks! Happy New Year to all Eleventh Hour fans! Let's kick this year off right - by getting our beloved series back on the airwaves! Join the Eleventh Hour Resurrection Campaign on the week of January 10th, 2010, in writing to Executive Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, reminding him that this wonderful series deserves a second chance. The mailing address is: Jerry Bruckheimer Films 1631 10th Street Santa Monica, California 90404 Remember, every letter, every voice, will make a difference. Please join us in bringing back our show! [end quote]Here's a link to the site: forum.planet-hood.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=52 And here's a link to Stephen Gallagher's blog. He's the creator of the British series and the writer of many of the best episodes, and he had been signed on as writer/show runner if there had been a second season. He very graciously answered a number of questions from the campaign members here: brooligan.blogspot.com/2009/11/questions-from-planet-hood.htmlAnd my personal take: I wasn't at all happy with some of the episodes, especially the Episode Which Shall Not Be Named (but which loosely translated from the Latin means "Stinks to High Heaven"); the lighting was often atrocious; and I questioned some directorial choices (due to my vast experience as a director). However, there was a lot of potential there, especially if Stephen Gallagher was going to be on board, and the acting was always stellar, of course. It would have developed quite well, given the chance. I know some of you thought it was a poor use of Rufus's talent, but it was lovely to have him on weekly, wasn't it, finally getting some exposure? And for those who have claimed, "I'd pay to see Rufus read the telephone book," well.....surely this was better than that. If you've gotten this far, thanks for reading! And, if you're so inclined, please consider helping out.

And, if you're so inclined, please consider helping out. [/quote] A Rufus watcher for several years now , I thought at first I would join this campaign. Let me say now that I not only saw the first showing of 11hour series, I recorded it and saw the second showing and still have the whole series on my box, although I was dubious about it, watching it only for Rufus . I have been off work sick for the last few days and was able to watch some of his old films and series in a block The comparison was horrendous Even the worst of his films were better than 11hr. abysmal scripts, poor sets. and dreadful lighting. . No matter how good his performance was, he was fighting a losing battle .. with the series .. with the studios ..you name it. So last night , I decided I could not to support this campaign.I could not tie him down to this again Whatever Rufus wants for himself and I cannot believe he wants 11hr I, for one, could not bear to see him in such trash again. IT WOULD BE LIKE CAGING A TIGER . If you love him let him fly.
