But would he do the stunts?

He's too smart for that, besides who wants to take a poor stunt man's job security away?

As he said after The Legend of Zorro, " Some actors say they want to do all their own stunts, I say I want other people to do my stunts because I, because I want to live! I think I'll just leave it at that." or something fairly close to this. You do know, of course that I can't quote a d***n thing my husband says this closely

Yay, Indiana Jones! That would be fun. See, like a western, I just can't see Ruf doing this type of film! I don't know why! He can do anything.......but I can't see it! So, obviously, that means he needs to do one!

perhaps it's time to resurrect the 'Rufus has been working out' thread. You guys need to pay attention to what's going on underneath all of those winter clothes. At any rate, to me it would be a waste to put Rufus in a picture where all he did was get dragged around by a horse and shot at or the action type equivalent for whatever genre. He could do it, but everyone can do it, so why bother? Watch Exteme Ops and be happy he did it once.

I hear there's going to be a stage production ( I believe at the National) of 'A Matter of Life and Death'. Wouldn't el Rufe be great for this part? It was a fantastic film, definitely Niv's best, and Rufus has been quoted as saying it's one of his favourites. Also, he says he likes that theatre in all its concrete glory....

Lovely, charming, sweet, endearing and oh so brilliant... but just not my cuppa. But I understand why he's all of yours, so that should be okay, right?
