You know, for most new shows, and returning major shows, the BBC provides an online press-pack. They never did for Zen - it struck me at the time that that was strange, but I do wonder if Cohen had made the decision before Zen even aired and that was why. As a new controller, it was reported he wanted to stamp his "imprint" on the channel - and not continuing with Zen looks like an early decision in line with that. Pity the audience figures and very positive reviews didn't change his mind. Totally agree with you GE2!! The mans arrogance belies belief! He doesn't care what the viewers want. He puts on what he wants. I think he will eventually come unstuck and get the sack. British t.v. seems to be going the way of American t.v. ie, most reality rubbish. There doesn't seem to be much quality t.v. now except for the odd good drama or documentary on both BBC and ITV stations. Lets keep watching Rufus dvd's that's what I do mostly now. Roll on more good work for Rufus!

With what happened to EH, I find myself watching more cable than network tv! What ever happened to the saying...the customer is always right. About time they start to listen to the veiwers!

Well said kygal.
With a bit of luck DC will not hold on to that job for too long (hopefully). Either he isn't aware of what the viewers want (in which case he's not doing his job), or he just won't listen to the viewers, or (and this is not a good thing) he just doesn't care. Just wants what he wants/likes.

I figured they hadn't got anyone else interested, or we'd have heard by now. Oh, pooh!

It's not really a surprise, but still a disappointment. And it renews my dislike of you-know-who.

Dang! I was hoping that the good reviews Zen got elsewhere would encourage some other network to pick up Zen.

To say I am disappointed with Left Bank's post is an 'understatement'. This was in response to the hundreds of comments being posted on their wall by eager fans of Zen all asking for more! This doesn't alter the fact that there are an awful lot of fans of Zen who are bitterly disappointed at the loss! Since the showing in the USA there has been a surge of new people all asking about when they can see more of Zen!
Just thought I would post this tweet from today:
She is not wrong!
We on the Zen tv facebook page have not given up. We and the fans will be fighting on!

Absolutly gutted again that we are not going to get more Zen, is there a conspirisy , If a programme is excellant and the viewers want more the tv!s policy must be not to make any more. I think they forget we are the customers. So so sad.
