Hello everyone, Well it took a threat (I told him I would say he'd been arrested for shoplifting) but I heard from Rufus this evening! Of course I have to be cryptic about what was said, but he might be doing a small part in Paradise Lost. Maybe. And unfortunately not a big part. He's heading back to London to start filming a movie with an actor he likes. As do I. As I'm sure many of you do. But I can't say who, just that it's a "sort of gangster film". Other than the actor's name, I don't know anything else. He's had offers to do plays, but "everything's at the same time", so when it rains it pours. So nothing to report on that front either. But we can all hope!! Sorry as usual to be so secretive. He had a great summer with Billy. I told him I might float the shoplifting story anyway, as even bad publicity is good publicity, right? Love to you all, Rai

I love it that whenever I can't get to sleep, I can always find something interesting on here! ;D Thanks for this, Rai! An actor he likes and we like? A gangster-type film? Heading back to London? (like.....heading back right NOW?) Oh, I wonder when we'll find out what it is and who the actor is and what it's called and who his character is! Pity about the small role in PL. I wonder how soon we'll find out about that, too? Thank you so much, Rai! <wonders if sleep is now possible, with this news buzzing around in my head>

Thanks for using your threats to get the man to cough up a bit of info, Rai! The shoplifting story would probably be about as accurate as that one about him driving a Prius to offset all the jet fuel he uses to visit Billy. Now I'm crossing my fingers that he'll be filming in London in late October to early November. I'm selfish that way. Good to hear he had a good summer with Young Master Sewell!

Thanks Rai. I am sad to hear about Paradise Lost but as I said previously everything happens for the best. I am happy that he doing a gangster movie because that at least means movies and employment and I do hope he gets do a play. Rai did he say if he is doing the sea.
I am happy he enjoyed the time with his son. I Like a man that keeps life in perspective.

Thanks so much for getting and posting this information, Rai! Now I'm crossing my fingers that he'll be filming in London in late October to early November. I'm selfish that way. Same with me, Judy!

Thanks for the info, Rai. Bill Nighy is the first name that sprang to my mind. I wonder what theatre he's been offered. I saw Tom Stoppard in London last week - I felt like stopping him and begging him to write another play with Rufus in mind!

, what a nice surprise to start my day! Thank you so much for those exciting news, Rai! "A sort of gangster film" sounds very very very cool to me. And it's nice to hear that he might be in "Paradise Lost" after all, even if it's just a small part.

Thanks for sharing the latest news Rai. Gangster film - sounds cool. Now who could that actor be?? We have already had a guess at Bill Nighy. I will pluck a name out of thin air and say Paul Bettany, or Colin Firth, or Anthony Hopkins, or Ed Stoppard, or James Franco ;D Suppose, I will just have to be patient! Good news though, shame about the plays Thanks again Rai for letting us know what the lovely Rufus is up to. Lasssie x

Ewww, did I hear the F word there? ;D
I'll throw in Albert Finney and Rupert Graves, for good measure. But all the other suggestions would be brilliant, too!
