Rufus being "courted" for new role: ANIMUS

I don't want to get to excited about this, because it's pretty unconfirmed--just a rumor that someone wants Rufus to take a role in an upcoming film. And maybe that's how people try to create buzz for a project, just throw actors' names out in the air. But I thought I'd share the article, just in case!
Exclusive : Sewell circling fun space thriller Animus
Rufus Sewell, not unfamiliar with the sci-fiction and fantasy realm having suffered endured “The Island of Dr. Moreau” (lest we forget), is circling another genre piece.
Sewell, who also played to the geek crowd with the “Harry Potter” flicks and “Dark City”, is being courted for science-fiction/horror flick “Animus”.
In what sounds like a fun mix of “Aliens” and “Event Horizon”, the Thomas Konkle-written script fixes on a space-journeying scientists who, on the way back from investigating some far-off moons, are hit by micrometeorites. One of the scientists is infected, and it’s no longer before another side of him comes out – threatening the family– killing the men, while dominating and impregnating the women. It’s up to the rest of the guys on the ship to kill the infected man – and thus, the monster within – before the evolved contagion makes it to Earth.
Told you it sounded like a blast, no!?
Commercials director Konkle is also directing.
Not sure how far along this is, let alone whether Sewell is a lock yet, but more on this when we get it. Like the sounds of it.

Well, I realize I have probably fallen right into someone's evil PR trap, but what the heck, I haven't created any useless threads in a while....

. I don't think that storyline sounds so great.
Even if it does sound a little.... um....
On the other hand....
for finding and posting all the infos about that project! If Rufus will be involved, I wonder what kind of role will be offered to him - another baddie?
