Hi bluehorse I agree with the girls - don't change your view on account of our perception. I still sobbed through IASL, especially when I thought he'd died. I was so relieved just to see him still in the land of the living I guess. Woodlanders was another weepy, I hated the ending. If you haven't already seen / ordered Taming of the Shrew and Martha Meet Frank Daniel & Laurence I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed - also great when you need cheering up ! Works for me. I'm please numbat see's Tristan and Isolde like me. I'm sure Isolde was in love with Marke and they lived happily ever after. I mean who'd want a skinny kid when they are offered a real man on a plate anyway !! Happy viewing.

Hi Nell, why shouldn't I change point of view when it makes sense to me? Anyway, I explained that already and it's maybe time to close the subject. As for Marke, , I completely agree with you and Numbat. As I already wrote somewhere else: I for myself made my own fantasy of the REAL ending. Isolde will return to Marke after a while, because she finally realizes what wonder of a man he is! I just watched Uncorked again. Oh my God, why do I have to sob and weep even with comedies? The story really touches me so deeply. It's not crying out of grief, but simply because it moves me so much. So thx for the advice, I will try out the others, one of the few still missing Greetings Bluehorse

I saw it on youtube and I loved it. Will be one of my next orders on amazon But now I have a more technical problem. Don't get to run my T&I DVD... I've already watched it several times without any problems, but now it refuses to let me enjoy some Marke before going to sleep. SOB!

Numbat , As our IASL expert It's really bugging me now after your fanfiction mention, is there a particular reason for Mick's seahorse tattoo? ( see gratuitous chest )I cannot see any point for it. It is so large and obvious yet is never mentioned. Also did IASL originate from a book ?

Frannie!!!!! Are you outing me? ? That was supposed to be a secret!!!!!! I don't think IASL is based on a book. I guess it wouldn't have been unusual for a "seafaring" type to have a tattoo back then. I've never really thought it needed explaining - it just is what it is. I love it (I have often wondered whether Martin Ricardo had a tattoo - he used to be a sailor before he became Mr Jones' secretary!!)

Well, i watched it only one time on you tube....until now Apart for Rufus, i found it a bit boring. Maybe it's also because i didn't understand something. I saw an happy end under the rain. He need her not only because he loves her but also because he can not doing the same life with one leg. What i really can't understand is why she left him go. I expected she jump in the water to stay with him. .....and i was thinking how she could sleep with next a man like Mick nearly naked

Because you were complaining and saying we should do more serious discussions and less gratuitous perving, ms tipou!!!. So we had to wait til you weren't here for some gratuitous perving, because we were well and truly over the serious discussion. ;D There is nothing more tiresome than the reformed fangirl - even worse than the reformed smoker, hahaha!!! But to make you feel loved again, here is some gratuitous Mick just for you, tip How about some gratuitous blowing!!!! Not sure that sounds quite right....................
