Oh, and another thanks I forgot, to Tinkerdog for finding this: I think this got pretty much lost in all the reports of Rufus-meetings! A little gem of an interview - Rufus sounds soooooo wonderful in it. Couple of verrrrry sexy chuckles, too..... Has anyone else picked up on another mannersism he has, in interviews - the little sniff he gives every so often while he's talking? So cute!

OMG, Leelee! The pics are fabulous, it seems to me to be there with you, I love to see the setting around too. Thank you very very much! The photo of my son and Alice was right in front of our hotel side entrance. It was right next to the stage door area. How great is that?

Yikes, I'm way behind on the thanks - I'm really sorry.... Uncorked, thank you SO much for the report of your meeting with The Man - the M&Ms were such an inspired idea (let's hope Billy can't reach up to that mantle, wherever it is now! Chomp-chomp) - it must be things like that that really give him a good laugh, and make you memorable, and that CAN'T be a bad thing where Rufus is concerned! Uke, thank you for the last bow (sob!) - it sounds as if he had as much fun as on the last day in London. ;D Was that you whooping? And Leelee, I LOVE your photos!! Please don't put yourself down so, you look lovely in them, and Calvin looks as pleased as punch - not surprisingly! Alice does look gorgeous in that pic. And as for Rufus....well! I love that about-to-start-laughing expression in the first photo, your big grin in the second (and who wouldn't have one, with THAT man's arm around you?!), and, oh, I know what you mean about hands touching in the third - when he said goodbye to me in London (after I'd had him all to myself for a chat - yay!!), we both put our hands up at the same time to sort of wave, and our fingers touched! I swear mine are still tingling, LOL! I'm glad you had such a great time, and that your son was such great moral support for you. Thank you so much for sharing the photos with us all. lol, I know what you mean too. It makes me giddy to remember that moment. It puts a smile on my face when I think about that weekend. Not just the meet and greet with Rufus and being in NYC with my son and having such a great time but also because I met some really great gals from this site and the yahoo fan group. We just have to do it again sometime. How often does Rufus do theatre in NYC on average? Anybody know?

Tinkerdog, I just listened to the interview that you sent thru and it was great. He's so witty and sweet and informative and oh my, he just sounds so sexy when he speaks. How'd I miss it when you sent it thru? thanks so much for the link and thanks to GE2 for thanking you and putting it out there again.

It's so wonderful and lovable and funny too. He's so relaxed, I love his voice and his way to talk, as a real friend. I like when he speaks about his memory and his "ritual"!! Kind the lady calling him Rufus Frederick at the end (she quickly has caught and used his second name)

Tinkerdog and GE2 This is a great interview. Rufus sounds so relaxed like he's simply having a chat with a friend. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I hope that storage company is taking good care of his "doodads" -- or we might just have to volunteer to divvy them up amongst us and hold them "safely" for him until he's settled again Do you think he'll let us??? I'm sure we are all quite willing to take care of his doodads. Just say the word............

...I will happily store some of his doodads, as long as he's willing to pick them up in person!

Leelee--THANKS for sharing your great pics with Rufus and your wonderful R 'n' Roll stories with us. That is so kind and generous of you! I think you look just lovely in the picture with Rufus. Everyone around here wants your beautiful hair, and with good reason...but what first struck me was how you look like his little sister or a cousin there. Which believe me is a compliment! It's a really nice picture, what a nice memento. I'm happy for you and your son that you had the opportunity to see the play and meet him and the other board (never bored) ladies.--Cakes
