I think the problem as well, Robela, is that when TOTS was aired, he was probably already in negotiations to do Rock'n'Roll. He was rehearsing from around March 2006 for that and then in it until November, so maybe good stuff was offered but the timing was wrong.
Plus, he is a "fussy beggar" as he says. (He often substitutes a different letter for the "e" in beggar!)

@ge2. Yes and RockandRoll was a good part for him as we know. (Although I was not lucky enough to see it) he received a lot of acclaim and an award and also Andy Harries saw him in that and decided he wanted him to play Zen. I have today received my dvd of Uncorked from America, so am now about to watch it. Looking forward to it as all good feedback from the Rufgirls.

Kate, watch that last bit again - I think he deliberately lets the ball slip away, to annoy the man even more by not returning the ball to him. Which is even funnier! The look he gives is sheer "up yours, mate!" Yes yes, and him going, "Fetch!" Just priceless!

Love TOTS so much my only complaint is that it wasn't longer Many people on this board have suggested they do a sequel of some sort, I am sure a good story could be written for those two (and the boys) and it would be just hilarious.

Many people on this board have suggested they do a sequel of some sort, I am sure a good story could be written for those two (and the boys) and it would be just hilarious. Certainly! The mere thought of a female Prime Minister with a husband in fishnets should provide enough material Thank you all for giving me an excuse to watch TOTS for the third time in as many months! Somehow that was lost on me. Robela, have fun with "Uncorked", it's a lovely film with a very sweet Rufus character.

Agree about the sequel - would be brilliant!! I have leant my copy of TOTS to my son and his girlfriend. Can't wait for it back am getting withdrawal symptoms. The copy of Uncorked I ordered is a Region 1 DVD. Gutted. I have ordered another copy. This time titled. Higher Love. Think this one will be ok. In the meantime, yesterday and Saturday watched 'A Man of No Importance' which was a lovely film as you all agree, and "She Creature" which I enjoyed, but not really my type of film. Have to say though Rufus does a brilliant Irish accent in both these films and as ever you just love him in anything.!

I hope you will get the DVD back soon robela. I have a hard time to lend precious DVD's. Well it's not that it happens a lot that I'm asked or I can offer it, because most of these DVD's are only with english audio and most of my friends and family don't know english well enough to be able to enjoy it. Well and they also have a different taste. Must definitely try to watch Petruchio and co sometime this week again. As for Uncorked/Higher Love - I will have to watch it on YT before I decide to buy it. I only could find copies for a horrendous price.

I never give any of my treasures away , neither books nor DVDs nor CDs. I once lent some of my favourite books to a friend and got them back in a very very sorry state. That taught me a lesson zenina, I think I got one of the last affordable copies of "Higher Love", but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll find one at a reasonable price (sometimes little wonders happen at ebay or amazon )

I think I would have watched it again already if I knew the rest of my family wouldn't find out....instead I sent a copy to my stepdaughter at college. Having an ally in the house would be a good thing!
