My hubby surprised me with Gone to Seed and it has to rank among my top favorite Rufus roles. I just loved Billy. And yes episode 4 does have it's err... charms, but why does no one mention that episode 1 has Rufus singing! And in episode 6 we see Rufus with babies! Two very swoon-worthy scenes. The only thing I didn't like? The fact Rufus didn't receive a more prominent billing. OK, sure, he wasn't as big a name at that time, but Billy was a key character, a major plot mover. Really enjoyed watching this one.

When I first watched this, I was amazed at how much screentime Rufus actually gets. I agree it was a very cool role. And don't get me started on the singing. Only complaint is that it's such a short scene.

I'm glad you finally got to see it, Rachel! What a nice thing for your hubby to do! The scenes you mention are great... Billy certainly was beautiful and charming.
